What Data the App Stores

Kid Points stores the following information to provide its functionality:

• Family and profile names
• Points balances and activity history
• Prizes and their point values
• Family member email addresses (for sharing access)

Where Data Is Stored

All data is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This means:

• Your data stays in your iCloud account
• Data syncs across your family's devices via iCloud
• We cannot access your data

Data Sharing

When you invite family members to join your Kid Points family, you are using iCloud's sharing features to grant them access to your family's data. Only people you explicitly invite can access your family's information.

Access Modes

Kid Points offers two access modes that control how family members can join:

• Secure Mode: Only iCloud accounts you explicitly add as trusted members can access your family's data. This provides the strongest privacy protection.
• Simple Mode: Anyone with your family's invite link can join. This is more convenient but means the link itself controls access. Keep your invite link private.

You can change your access mode at any time in the app's settings.

No Analytics or Tracking

Kid Points does not include any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not collect usage data or behavioral information.

Children's Privacy

Kid Points is designed for families. Children's profiles are managed by parents within the family's private iCloud data. No children's data is collected or transmitted to us.

Data Deletion

You can delete your family's data at any time by removing the family from within the app. Since data is stored in your iCloud account, you maintain full control.
